JOIN THE A+E FARMS GUARDIAN FAMILY

All dogs deserve a loving home, especially our breeding moms and dads.

The kind of home where they get the individual attention and care that they deserve. By using guardian homes, we are able to grow our breeding program and keep puppies that have the best bloodlines, temperaments, and traits.

How Does Being A Guardian Family Work?

We place our top pick puppy (free of charge!) with a carefully chosen local family who raises the dog as their own, while we maintain breeding rights and welcome a few litters from her in our program.

WHO PAYS FOR THE SPAY/NEUTER ONCE A DOG IS RETIRED FROM BREEDING?

We will pay for the surgery to neuter/spay the dog after a female's last litter or once the stud is no longer going to be used as a sire for our program.

IS THERE ANY KIND OF FINANCIAL COMPENSATION FOR BEING A GUARDIAN HOME?

YES! Because we know how much work goes into raising a dog and adding in heat cycles, extra vet appointments, and the other inconveniences of having an unaltered dog we do pay our guardian families for each litter (females), and each time a dog sires a litter (males).

As a guardian family, you are also welcome to help in the puppy raising process if you would like to! If not, don't worry we will take care of 100% of the puppy raising.
