Miss Plum was so fun to watch during her assessment!
She was absolutely willing to do anything for the toy and showed the most interest in the dog out of all the puppies. She was the least attached to Austin, confidently exploring her environment, checking in on different objects and spaces, and then circling back to him in between her little adventures.
When Austin had his fit, she surprised us in the sweetest way—she army crawled right over to him to offer comfort. Even though she’s more independent and less human-focused than some of her littermates, she clearly has a tender, intuitive side that shows up when it really matters.
Because she is naturally more independent, she’s likely to self-entertain more easily than the puppies who constantly look to their people for direction. This can be a wonderful fit for families who want a puppy with a bit more autonomy.
As always, we recommend socializing and, if possible, getting into a group puppy training class to support her development.
