"Mary Ann" Red Collar Female $4,500

Mary Ann is a fun, easygoing little girl who has a really nice balance between wanting to be with her person and being comfortable exploring on her own.

 

Throughout her temperament test, she checked in with Austin and clearly enjoyed being near him, but she wasn’t glued to his feet. She was quick to move around the testing area, investigate what was happening, and work through new experiences without needing constant reassurance.

 

Her low sensitivity to sights and sounds, low prey drive, and more submissive nature with other dogs give her a go-with-the-flow quality that was really fun to watch. She isn’t especially tenderhearted either, so she is less likely to take every emotion or stressful moment happening around her personally.

I can picture Mary Ann fitting into a lot of different families. Her ideal day might include breakfast with the family, some playtime with the kids or another dog, a walk around the neighborhood, and then happily settling while everyone goes about their day.

 

She has enough energy to join in on family adventures without needing to be entertained every minute, and she enjoys her people without being overly dependent on them.

 

Of course, Mary Ann is still a puppy, and this test is only our starting point. Continued training, socialization, and exposure to new people, dogs, places, and experiences will help turn all of these great natural traits into a confident, well-mannered adult dog.
