"Bonnie" No Collar Female $4,500

Bonnie is our bold little adventure girl. She absolutely flew through her temperament test and figured out most of it without Austin even needing to encourage her. She is confident, highly motivated, high energy, and very human focused, with the funniest little grunts that make her personality even bigger. Bonnie doesn't spend much time worrying about whether something is safe or how everyone else feels about it. She is much more likely to say, “Looks fun, let's go!” She also isn't particularly tenderhearted, so she should be able to handle the normal emotions and commotion of family life without absorbing everything happening around her.

 

Bonnie would be so much fun for an active family that wants a little dog who can keep up on adventures. She has a high prey drive, so I would be more cautious placing her with cats, other very small animals, or a family with very young children who may accidentally turn themselves into something fun to chase. Her family should start early with impulse control, recall, leash skills, and teaching her how to settle, because this girl has plenty of GO built in! Give her adventures, training games, and appropriate outlets for that busy brain instead of relying on exercise alone. With consistent boundaries and continued socialization, Bonnie has the potential to be an incredibly fun 20–30 pound adventure buddy who is always ready to see what you're doing next.
